A Sunday at Château Roc de Calon with a New Caledonian group

Sunday September 24 was one of the highlights of September at Château Roc de Calon. We were delighted to welcome a group of rugby enthusiasts from Nouméa, New Caledonia, to attend the Rugby World Cup in France.
A French-Style Lunch
A sunny aperitif with a view of our vineyards; that’s how this beautiful day began! This was followed by a visit to our winery and a French lunch. All in a warm and friendly atmosphere!
Wine: a Link Between Cultures
Of course, no experience at Château Roc de Calon would be complete without tasting our award-winning wines, so our guests enjoyed tastings of our vintages such as Roc de Calon, Daylis and Écrin.
Sunday September 24 will remain in our hearts as a day of encounters, cultural sharing and rugby exchanges. At Château Roc de Calon, we believe in the symbiosis between people and wine. This day is a perfect illustration of this.
We would like to thank our guests from Nouméa for their presence and warmth. It’s thanks to an occasion like this that we can celebrate the art of viticulture and the passion for wine.
